About the Event

A 2 hour Twilight session to support teachers of A level Religious Studies. This event will look at how we help our more able students maximise their chances of achieving top grades. The event will be delivered by experienced teacher, examiner and author Chris Eyre and will focus on

  • Understand what an A/A* looks like: grade boundaries, examiners reports and scripts.

  • Establishing the right conditions: induction, responsibility and independent learning

  • Teaching High Level reading and writing

  • Revision and the run up to exams

Whilst most of the examples will come from OCR Religious Studies, it is intended that the strategies and approaches will be useful to teachers delivering other specifications at A level.
