About the Event

A 2 hour Twilight session to support teachers of A level Religious Studies. This event will look at how we help our weakest learners succeed in our subject. The event will be delivered by experienced teacher, examiner and author Chris Eyre and will focus on

  • Establishing routines and getting the basics right
  • Knowledge and making key concepts stick
  • Improving essay writing from D/E to C.
  • Revision and exam techniques for weaker students

Whilst most of the examples will come from OCR Religious Studies, it is intended that the strategies and approaches will be useful to teachers delivering other specifications at A level.
